Hi All
Arrived very late on Sunday make that Monday morning. greeted at the airport by the very friendly but serious Ebola screening of hand sanitiser, health questionnaire and temperature check before allowed through customs. Had few minutes of panic as was boiling at this point in case it read I had a temperature, that would have been some craic. So four hours of sleep as up early to meet with Anne and Kate who have been here for the last week. Then some time to chill before meeting the UPMA (Ugandan private midwives association) to discuss plan for the next four weeks.
Outcome plan is to have some meetings this week and to go up to Kiwoko hospital next week to join Sue (blonde lady in picture) to evaluate supporting students in practice.
16-9-14 Well what can I say yes the sun is shining, although had some rain today. The food well best not mention to much about that not that easy for the gluten free among us but so far lots of Chips. However did go to a restaurant in town tonight which was lovely.
